Anyone fancy This? Shares for Sale.

May 14th - May 18th sees the arrival of the GUKPT into Newcastle at the Grosvenor Casino. This event is my top choice live event of playing in but to be perfectly honest there is no way I would pay £1000.00 + £60 reg fee to enter it. The creme de la creme of UK Poker players obviously play in this and its the best test of your ability on a different level to what most normal tournaments test you to. The structure is obviously excellent with a huge prize pool and the tour has proved even more popular than last years. Satellites are now running at our local Grosvenor for this event together with a Champion of Champions Tournament for all previous winners of tournaments during February & March at the casino with the winner of that gaining a GUPT seat and 2nd & 3rd getting entries into the build up events.
What I am proposing here follows on from what Morlspin & BurnleyJoe did for their Prague event with such success and that was selling shares to anyone that is interested.

It works as easy as this;

Im offering a 1% share in me for the £1000 event at £10 each, you can buy as many as you want up to a maximum of 100 shares. I will fund the registration fee for entry.
Ill be giving back 75% of any winnings from this event to my shareholders so if you bought 50% of my shares for £500 you would then get back 37.5% of anything that I win.
Example: If I cashed for say £5000 then each share would be worth £37.50 each so for a £100 stake you would get £375 return. Obviously if this was £10000 then your return would be £750 for £100.
If anyone is interested then let me know and I will sort out payment details closer to the time of the event. Obviously it will be on a 1st come 1st served basis and I guarantee a 100% total effort in cashing for the support and faith shown by any shareholder.
Better to be lucky than good as they say.

Hello mate

Do you think you'll place? What's your best place in the £200 you play?

There's a Newcastle player used to be on Poker Night Live. Great bloke but his name escapes me. Bet he'll be there as well.

Good luck

I dont particulary like those online sats Soap and have never had any luck or success on Blue Square. I would have better chance and success of qualifying through the live satellites held at Grosvenor on Saturday nights I reckon but the only drawback being they start at 10.30pm and Mrs C would think I was elsewhere maybe! and I do prefer other nights out rather than the Saturday that they are being played on.
I have already been pledged £300 just in light discussion with 2 people so I dont have too far to go now to achieve the buy in.

I have good record RealAle m8 in the £200 playing in it 5 times with the following finishes.
1: 4 way chop for over £2k
2; 15th
3; 14th
4; 5 way chop for $1550
5; 11th
As for being placed, well who knows because its a different game with alot of the players that play this level but if I didnt believe I couldnt cash in it then I wouldnt even consider playing in it.
Is the player you mean Lawrence Gosney?

I think the player he is talking about is Carlo Citrone the only other Newcastle player who was on Late night poker was Steven Lieu who wore a Yellow suit and looked like that dude off Rentaghost

No the player he means is Carlo Citrone i think the only other Newcastle poker to play on Late night poker is Steven Lieu who wore a lovely Yellow suit

Great results. The player is James Browning.

Good luck in the tourney

TEAMDOBB said...

Yea I do know James but I didnt know he had been on that programme.
Wudda loved to have seen Steven Lieu as well in a Canary Suit!

He was a presenter on Poker Night Live, not Late Night Poker.

It was on the 'Pokerzone' channel, sky 843 but they stopped the live program in 2007 although I think they sometimes show repeats.

I can see where the confusion would be :-)

as said before mate would pay £150 but that would be 15% which was 5% over the max. £100 is fine but the £150 offer is there if you want it mate. Just a footnote think you are one of the very few people i play with who would have a serious chance of cashing never met a more patient player than you and one who folds so many top hands cos he thinks he is beat and is right!!!

good luck
